This is your weekly update on all happenings within CSU Esports!
Rainbow 6 Siege
Spring break is in full swing for all Colorado State students but when it came time for our R6 teams’ weekly games everyone was still locked in. The CSU R6 Rams have officially secured their place in the playoffs while CSU R6 Gold was able to snap their losing streak with a 2–1 victory. An incredible note from R6 Gold’s series Titanium_Titan dropped a record-breaking 46 Kills in their series.
Now for this week’s Play of The Week, it only makes sense that it’s from Titanium_Titan.
CSGO
It’s official that teams are scared to face your CSGO Rams. Their hot run of form continued this week in the Faceit Collegiate League as they took down NEU Gold in two close games 19–17 and 16–13. This combined with two forfeit wins in their NACE games and the CSGO Rams win streak is back to 4 once again. Now for this week’s CSGO POTW check out this clean 4k.
Rocket League
Rocket League is nearing playoff time as all three of our teams wrestle for seeding. The CSU Rams RL Team went 1–1 this week securing the 3rd place spot which gets them into a last-chance qualifier to make it to the playoffs. RL Green was able to pick up a 3–0 win themselves giving them a nice boost but RL Gold was, unfortunately, unable to mimic Green’s success. Now for this week’s RL POTW check out this crazy goal.
Valorant
Mountain West play will be starting soon for you Valorant Rams as they look to build off of their previous success in making the playoffs of their last league. Make sure to keep an eye out as Mountain West play should start in around a week.
Overwatch
Overwatch was not in action this past week due to Spring Break but they have their match with UNLV coming up this week. Now for this week’s Overwatch POTW check out this funny clip.
