Upcoming LAN

The CSU Esports LAN is this weekend and there is a small update to the day’s schedule.

Once Again; CSU Esports will be hosting a LAN event on Saturday, February 25th! The Lan will run from 9 AM to about 7 PM and it will be located in Scott Bio 101. Above is a list of activities that will be running throughout. We hope to see you all there!

Valorant

Your CSU Valorant Rams took the victory 2–0 against non-school affiliated Five Guys this past week securing a huge W. This week they play their next match which is against UH Alpha (Likely the University of Houston). This game may have serious playoff implications making it a must watch. Speaking of must watch check out this week’s Valorant Play of The Week.

Play By: Oxcy (CSU Valorant Rams)

CSGO

Last week was a crazy one for the CSU CSGO Rams squad as they had two crazy series. Their first series of this past week saw them matchup against California State University Fullerton in an absolute nail-biter. Map one went to CSUF in a 19–16 overtime win for them, but CSU was able to bounce right back winning map two, 16–13. A tie series heading into map three made sure that both teams were playing at their best as CSU pulled off the win with a 19–16 overtime victory of their own. The squad was also able to roll their momentum into their Faceit Collegiate series as they easily dispatched OTSU 2–0 and took home their second win of the week. With momentum on their side it will be quite the watch to see if they keep things going as their season continues.

Rainbow 6 Siege

CSU Rainbow 6 Siege once again saw all three teams in action this week. Your CSU R6 Rams were able to stay hot as they won their match extending their winning streak, unfortunately the same cannot be said for CSU R6 Gold and CSU R6 Green. Nonetheless check out this crazy 1v5 ace a.k.a. R6’s Play of the Week.

Play By: Titanium_Titan (CSU R6 Gold)

Rocket League

CSU Rocket League also had quite a busy week themselves. While their NACE League games were cancelled they all were able to make respectable runs in a tournament this weekend. A third round exit for CSU RL Rams and CSU RL Green highlighted the week as CSU RL Gold went out one round earlier. The Rocket League schedule is beginning to heat up quickly so make sure to keep an eye out for their upcoming matches.

Play By: BigLog (CSU Alumni)

Overwatch

Next week is the start of the Mountain West Overwatch season! Your CSU Overwatch Rams will be taking on Utah State next week! Make sure to tune in!

League of Legends

League of Legends is getting very close to being able to field a team. We are looking for one or two more players of any skill level to come play. If you are interested please DM, Darlow#3146 on Discord.
